A 58-year-old Twin Cities high school teacher is in custody and accused of sexually abusing one of his students, and police believe he has "multiple prior victims."

Parents at Coweta Public Schools are voicing support for the district in the aftermath of sexual assault claims.

The school's board of trustees announced that the Head of School was on leave in a letter to parents informing them about the sexual assault investigation. In a follow-up letter, the board clarified that he was placed on leave while the school reviewed its policies and procedures and that he is not involved in the investigation itself.
